Head Trainer – Jenn Giacopelli
In 2002, Jenn Giacopelli parlayed her personal success competing in the equitation, hunter & jumper disciplines as a junior and young adult into Rhiannon Equestrian.Jenn’s objective is to create a safe, nurturing professional environment in which riders of all ages can continually grow to experience personal success and achievement at any level.
Staff Trainer – Leanna Antenucci
As a junior, Leanna Antenucci successfully competed in the hunter, jumper, and equitation rings. In the latter part of her junior career, Leanna’s focus became the jumpers. She competed on the A-level circuit throughout the Northeast. Leanna attended the University of Connecticut where she was captain and point rider for the equestrian team. Upon graduating with a Bachelor’s in Animal Science and a minor in Equine Business Management, Leanna came on board as a full time member of the Rhiannon training staff. Leanna’s skill and background enables her to train riders of all levels. She also provides training for many horses in the program both in and out of the show rings.
Staff Trainer – Kate Reynolds LaVerde
Kate Reynolds LaVerde is a fourth generation horsewoman who grew up showing up and down the east coast in the hunters, jumpers, and equitation divisions. Kate has helped produce winners at major horse shows such as Devon, Pony Finals, the Winter Equestrian Festival, HITS, and the Vermont Summer Festival. After an accomplished intercollegiate career at Cornell, Kate worked for three years in the corporate world while showing as an amateur. Kate is now focusing all her energy as a professional trainer, who gets equal delight in teaching young students and horses from the ground up.
